We provide food and medical supplies, support sustainable living and provide crisis relief for a Vietnam-based orphanage, AIDS hospice and a village for people who are blind.

Thien Phuoc Orphanage

A place to live for children who have physical and cognitive disabilities. It is located in District 12, Hochiminh city. Because of their disabilities, it is not uncommon in Vietnam for these children to be abandoned by their families who struggle to care for them and kept hidden from society. We provide their caretakers with needed supplies and special equipment to help these children with the needs of day-to-day living.

 Mai Hoa AIDS Hospice

The Hospice is in Cu Chi region, 100km outside of Hochiminh city. The Hospice provides shelter, community living and education for children who were orphaned and left behind after their parents passed away from AIDS.

 Village for the blind

The Village is in Phong Dien region, 30km outside of Hue (central VN.) This is one of the poorest areas in the country. Despite their vision challenges, the people in this village are resilient and resourceful. With our help, they have created many projects to generate income for their members. We have helped them with incense/toothpick/broom making, and caring for domestic animals like pigs and chickens. This region is not blessed with good weather, and drought and floods happen yearly, making it difficult for people in the region and in our Village, to get ahead. The stigma of their disability does not make it easier for people living with vision challenges to be accepted as part of general society.
