We’re working to improve our post-primary program in order to place our graduates in schools that will best serve their needs. This year brings many changes. We’ve expanded the number of secondary/vocational schools to accommodate all types of learners. Our very top learners can choose Namugongo Secondary which not only has an excellent academic program but also offers some vocational training. They leave well equipped for future employment opportunities. Other choices include Kira Secondary for those wishing to pursue and academic stream and Nile Vocational for those wanting vocational training.
Students applying for scholarships to the above institutions are now required to fill out an application form, answer a series of questions and take part in a personal interview. Successful candidates are expected to maintain a certain grade level as set by Stand Tall and to write term reports on their progress.
