This project is in its initial phase and isn’t fully up and running yet. Many farming villages in Cambodia are caught in the spiral of poverty. They lack the resources to make changes and persist in outmoded lifestyles and farming practices which don’t allow them enough extra money to improve anything. Working with farmers, we will help them introduce new types of produce and improve practices that will create higher incomes. We are working on the best ways to achieve this outcome and we are considering: a community Market, a cooperative store and purchasing system, introducing organic market gardens and beehives, upgrading book keeping and money management, improving nutrition and health. The first village in the pilot project is Romang Gnab in Kampong Thom Province, Cambodia.
