Rose Eye Clinic

The Rose eye clinic in Cambodia was started over 20 years ago in a single room. Today it is the largest free clinic in Cambodia with state-of-the-art equipment. The clinic treats approx 8000 people per month and has seen over half a million patients since its inception. It is run by a skilled Cambodian team and visiting eye surgeons from New Zealand, who offer screening, treatment and surgery, free of charge for those who can not afford it. This clinic has changed the lives of many people who were unable to work because of eye problems and entire families have been positively affected after their surgery.
