Asolate Rwanda has opened its new project to produce ‘green’ wood burning stoves. The stoves which are far more efficient than those commonly used in rural Rwanda. Many of the participants in Asolate project training programs are ex child soldiers
Asolate has trained more than 41 local youth leaders, 6 trainers from Asolate training centres, and 14 technicians who will all work on the Asolate Stoves Project. They have been trained in project management, how to participate in achieving millenium goals, and how to act in order to reduce poverty.
The stove project was supported Asolate’s Canadian arm, a member project of Rose Charities.
